Catherine Loewe - Founder
Catherine Loewe is an art historian, curator and consultant based in the UK.
With three decades in the art industry, Catherine holds a BA in Art History from the University of East Anglia and began her career at leading galleries and auction houses in London including Christie’s, Waddington Galleries and Anthony d’Offay working with luminaries Bill Viola, Ellsworth Kelly, Howard Hodgkin & Anselm Kiefer. Catherine held positions in art publishing at Flash Art, Blouin Media and Ocula whilst launching her eponymous agency creating projects with YBA artists including Gary Hume, Fiona Rae, Gavin Turk & Glenn Brown.
During the pandemic Catherine co-founded innovative female-led digital platform Eye of the Huntress. Catherine was commissioned by the City of Rome as inaugural curator for the Via Veneto Public Sculpture Project in 2021 inviting acclaimed Austrian artist Erwin Wurm. She has served as a Patron of New Art, Tate Modern, Modern Art Museum, Oxford and on the committee for the Kensington & Chelsea Art Festival.
